Textminingstructuring unstructured data

Text Mining provides you with the ability to quickly browse through many gigabytes of documents and automatically retrieve information from these texts. These 'features' can be used to classify documents in known classes or to match a document similar to other documents. This is usually done using a number of examples based on a manual annotation. But it is also possible for the system to learn to which class a document belongs (think of your spam filter that classifies 95% of your mail as spam, and only 5% of the email sent to you will actually be dropped in your inbox).

Text Mining can also be used to automatically analyze what a document / blog /tweet is about. This type of text mining is extensively used in email handeling, social media analytics and competitive intelligence.

Web Mining, on the Web there are numerous sources of text and other unstructured content to be found. These data are increasingly seen as an interesting source for Competitive & Collective Intelligence.

There are infinite possibilities! Would you like to expand your horizon?
